The Mondo Verde product line was created by internationally known platform artist Nick Altamore to solve common challenges faced by today’s hair stylists. Nick always believed that you have to rebuild the hair from the cortex to the cuticle (from the inside out). From properly cleansing the hair, to bleaching and coloring, and finished styles, Mondo Verde does it all!

what is a conditioner?
A conditioner is a topical application that deposits beads of waters, oils, polymers, and proteins on the cuticle of the hair creating a shield so it is easy to comb when it’s wet. However when it’s dry, in order to stay flexible, it borrows moisture from the cortex, making it dry and brittle again.
Nick found a scientific way to treat the hair from the inside out, not “topically.” He discovered a series of chemicals beneficial to the hair. Sweet Water neutralizes whatever chemicals are left in the hair (cuticle and cortex) from previous chemical services. It lays the cuticle down in its natural state, restructures and strengthens the cortex, bringing back strength and elasticity to the hair.
He also formulated a sealer that seals the cortex and cuticle down. It is called Moisture Maintenance. THIS IS NOT A CONDITIONER! For extremely abused and damaged hair he developed Solza. Solza needs Sweet Water to penetrate under the cuticle into the cortex. In Solza the molecular structure is such that when put under the dryer, it grows and becomes part of the hair. It is like Synovial fluid filling all the spaces in between the bundles of cortex keeping it healthy, shiny, and flexible and maintaining proper amount of moisture. SOLZA IS A TREATMENT, NOT A CONDITIONER!
